Well its after a long time that I am trying to get back to this thing called blog .......of mine. Reasons are many which includes professional committment which does not allow to open blogs while in your workplace (work or no work).

Lets see what all happened after the last entry which I posted on valentine's Day boasting my indipendence and mocking the romeo juliet successors of today. :P

1.Will start with the comment which I got on that particular blog. One guy..[or girl....dont know... :( .....people love to remain anonymous......dont know why..] appreciated my love for the freedom I have and the struggle ( freedom struggle... :P) which I am waging through my blog entry.

But at the same time he ( or she...... still a suspense...) made it clear that I too will lose this freedom one day and has respectfully ( Good I liked his respect.... for me.... professionalism...)asked me to inform him when it happens to me... ( I know he is talking about my marriage..)

REPLY: Man....( lady... who ever you are.. :P hehehehe.) how many of us boast about the lost things in life...( except at certain instances...which I dont think I need to explain...) . So till the time I am freee let me make a mockery of those worshippers of greek MAHAN .....the CUPID...after that I will post another blog against the non engaged ones ... right....? happy...!!! ( thats what I can do for you man..(woman)....) hehehehehe..............

2. One of my freinds b coz of whom I started this stuff called blog.... told me a very exciting news. He said he lost 3 kilos in just two days...and he is on his way to lose another 2 more kilos... in another couple of days.
I was amazed. Eventually I came to see his recent photo... I was a bit amazed as to what effect it will have on his health to lose weight in such a fast pace. After seeing his photo..I guess he should fasten up his pace and loosen another fatty circles of his pot belly and his round fleshy face..... hehehe..... OBESE fellow.... ( man u have b come too thadiyan..... cant beleive..)

Now ...the funny part of the story....Took suggestions from him on loosing weight in the way and time he did...... Now I am loosing my money paying medical bills...... (Its better I dont describe anything more.....) good for me than good for him....hehehehe :P

3. Attended some cocktail parties ....... in some star hotels and resorts...... ( thats a solace of working in an MNC....) Though I had only a mocktail (...not a cocktail....) Got to see some english band screaming like hell with guitar and drums geting beaten by these mad guys...( pop songs.....) . Food was the only thing which gave a sigh of relief to me...( no dieting ....only eating).

4.Last but not the least......The height of copying some one's idea..... guess what........? Amitabh Bachan and AAmir KHan started their blogs....( on my footsteps...) ....

hmmmmm................... lets seeeee how it goes...( No I wont compete...... against my stature...hehehe)..

So thats it.....Will write something more interesting.... next time... dont know when.... Till then.... all you vayana karees and vayanakarans ............. go ahead and comment on this entry... no need to feel shy... gramatical errors will be corrected... no pblm.... :P

There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity. Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:

1. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!

2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.

3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha , that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.

5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.

6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. He has given his CEO's only two rules. Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

7. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.

8. Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.

9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.

His advice to young people: "Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself and

Friends , this is just an effort to spread the inspiration which great people like Warren Buffet ( and I....ofcourse .... :p ) give to others by virtue of their simplicity.......

" A    very Good Morning to all of you. To begin with , let me wish you all a very happy Republic DAy..... It's a nice coincidence that our Alumin meet is fallling on the same day as that of the Republic Day..............
................. Well I am really happy to be here today ......... in having got a chance to come back to my college and revive those memories related to my 4 years of proffessional education.....................

................................Probably I am the youngest alumnus here...as I can see the pass outs from 1962 batch to the last batch i.e 2007 batch and that is me..I being the only one from this batch...

I still remember the day when I ,along with my Parents, came here for the first time to get an admit....... the tall and huge red MAIN Building is what I still have as the first impression of my alma matter.......
Well I won't take much of your time by giving a lengthy speech... I know it's already noon and the food is ready to be eaten........ But just to say that ................

..........................this is a world of Expectations............ Right from the moment you are born to the moment you die..... a lot of people keep a lot of expectations from you................

...............your parents expect you to be a good child..... your mother expects you to be a star student in the class...... your teachers expect you to be on time when submitting assignments.........................

.............................if you are a boy..............your girlfriend expects you to be a six pack shahrukh kahn............and if you are a lady.... your husband expects you to be typical Indian Lady........hmmm...............

...................well the point I want to make is that .......in my opinion.... Living Up to Someone's expectations is the toughest responsibility one can have...... and I think this medal stands as a testimony to the efforts which I have put into handling this touhgest responsiblity........................

......................I thank GOD ALMIGHTY ...for making this moment come true.............for what ever I am ..it goes because of GOD...... I thank and I stand indebted to my Parents.... the embodiment of GOD for me on Earth...... this award is for them.... this has happened only because of them...... especially for my mother who instilled the value of academics in me.....................

.....................................to my Teachers...who , from day one in my college....gave me the guidance, affection and support which inspired me to work without fail............. especially I thank My group tutor Jose Augustin Sir ....who proved to be a wonderful mentor ..................

( This is the speech which I was supposed to deliver,which did not happen, on being awarded Prof. K.J.Paul Endowment Award for being the Topper in Mechanical Engineering of Batch 2007......)

(TO be frank .... I dint prepare this speech...((probably because the all new KINGFISHERISED cabin crew of AIR DECCAN flight dint allow me to......))....all the words came at the moment )....

IT was a wonderfull experience to be on the 2nd Alumni Meet in the college.... It was nice to see alumni from the first batch...i.e 1962 batch coming exclusively for the meet.... the memories they shared...the spirit of youth which they showed when they met their old pals.... ( galfriends and boyfriends.... hehe.......it was really funny........ ammmachis and appooppans sharing their freak college days.................................... shying away from their old admirers....hehehehe)

The Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd.(HPCL), Mr. Arun Blakrishnan.. a 1972 batch Chemical Engg. Pass out and an IIM-B alumnus.......was the chief guest of the function...

A very interesting thing lies in the fact that his life partner is also an alumna of our college.. a 1974 Chemical Engg pass out ( If I remeber it correctly....) .........

well the function included speeches from Heads of the different Alumni CHAPTERS of our college... and many other tooo

AMong different programmes ,One thing worth mentioning is the award presentation for those who found their soul mates from the college.... under the category 'GEC COUPLE AWARD'......

This award is categorised into three....

GROUP1: BOth husband and wife from the same class...( regarded as the toppers of Love.......)..( not applicable for mechanical branch .......guys...........hehehe)

Group 2: both husband and wife from the same branch.....

and GROUP 3: both from the college irrespective of the branch or year...........

Well ......it was good.... to see all this happeneing.....................happy to see the expert and varied pool of alumni which our college has... ( ....sad to come in terms with the fact that...... was not able to make myself eligible for 'GEC COUPLE AWARD'.................hehehe)

Meeting and interacting with the alumni and senior staff was the best experience....
..........well to sum up.......... nostalgic and...inspirational.. occassion...

dint find any of my batchmates.except one...... waiting to attend another similar meet which will be for the 2007 pass outs....

(guys waiting for the snaps to be mailed from the college....so that thay can be uploaded.....)

SINcere advice to juniors : Make your self eligible for all kind of awards....including the GEC COUPLE AWARD tooooooo..heheheee

Government Engineering College,Thrissur (Government Engineering College, Trichur) known as GECT is the second oldest and second largest State Engineering College of Kerala, India. It is also popularly known as Thrissur (Trichur) Engineering College. The college was established in 1957. It is located at Ramavarmapuram, 4 km from the center of Thrissur, Kerala, South India. The foundation stone was laid by the first Prime minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and inaugurated by the first Chief minister of Kerala, Pattom Thanu Pillai. This is the Golden Jubilee year of the college (GECT GoldenJubilee).

The college is approved by the AICTE and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The College is affiliated to the University of Calicut and is one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India. Hi ALL....

Well let me see how can I make this blog a creative and interesting one for me and you all..

Will soon post an article ... I have just started with the stuff.. Thanks to Vivek... my college pal ( the CS puli) that I am finally done with the process of making a blog...which was pending for a long time....

Btw... I love to have some tips from you expert bloggers as to how to maintain a blog usefully and creatively...
